¿Que es Tepache?
Tepache, an effervescent, fermented pineapple beverage from Mexico, is traditionally made with pineapple scraps, including the core and rinds, piloncillo sugar, water, and aromatic spices like cinnamon, ginger, and dried chilis. The naturally occurring wild yeast and bacteria found on the pineapple rinds causes a natural fermentation resulting in a sweet, tangy beverage that’s packed with gut healthy live cultures.
